Confessions of a Free Range Prolapsed Catholic

The “world” says I am a baby boomer! Therefore my career path is straight towards oblivion! Now, for the first time in my cradle Catholic heritage, I am older than the Pope!

But somehow I am managing as a pensioner. Somehow I have managed ( so far) to survive on what is left of my super after using it to survive before I could claim the pension. I retired early because I could no longer continue working in a system I had committed myself to for 40 years. Thirty plus days of a psychotic episode , caused after investigation, was contributed to unresolved PTSD.

So my career plan? My rest of life campaign is to live it. Every day above ground is a bonus for me. The only moment – career wise included , is the one I am in as I type this!

I think I may have spent this moment well enough to enable me to be satisfied with my “plan”!

I remain still standing, so I am ahead on points!
